The bus service will be free on Christmas´Saturdays
People of Alcoi will enjoy the urban transport in bus for free all Saturdays of Christmas. A new measure of the Mobility Council that want to encourage the public transport and make easy the trips in that time of shopping.
Days of free bus
The measure, announced by the town councillor, Jordi Martínez, will be effective on 12th, 19th and 26th of December and 2th of January. This initiative is not the only one, also are working by now the social bonus and the Marathon Young at Bus. All that are destined to give advantage the use of bus like mean of transportation between people of Alcoi.
A initiative that worked at the Mobility Week
At the 2015 edition of the Mobility Week the councillorship have just make a proof of that initiative. The Cars Free day has been celebrated with a free day of bus along a Saturday. At that time a total of 4500 users has traveled with us. In Christmas we repeat that successful idea for four days.
